Deposits/Payments:

To purchase our puppies we require a 25% NONREFUNDABLE deposit.   You may pay by Pay Pal, cashiers check, money order or personal check.  If paying with a personal check please allow 10 days for the check to clear the bank.  We expect the deposit and signed Terms and Conditions Contract, within 5 days of your request.  If deposit is not received within 5 days the puppy will be put back up for sale, thank you.

If we do not receive the deposit within 5 days the puppy will be listed again as Available.  We feel that by the time you place a deposit, you are 100% sure about purchasing a puppy from us. Therefore, we will NOT refund or transfer any deposits or payments simply because you changed your mind! The deposit is given and received in good faith that you are sincere about purchasing one of our puppies.  When we receive your deposit for the puppy of your choice, we consider that puppy is sold and no other inquiries can be made on that puppy. 

You are welcome to make payments on your puppy until he/she is ready to go home. There will be no refunds or transfers of payments or deposits to another puppy! The balance is due by the time the puppy is 6 to 8 old and at that time we will arrange shipping, pickup or delivery.  We must receive the total due BEFORE shipping or delivering any puppy!  If your puppy is not picked up or shipped by the age of 9 or 10  weeks old, you must pay the balance due plus a boarding charge of $25 a week (to cover any additional food, vaccines, and vet care).

Shipping:

We ship out of the Memphis International Airport. Shipping cost is an additional $250.  When your puppy is shipped, he/she is shipped in a new crate to your nearest international airport (usually you can pick them up in the baggage office).  Please have your ID and flight information with you when picking up your puppy, and please be on time and have NutriCal with you in case the puppy needs it, due to the stress of their trip. 

We ship within the continental United States!  We do not ship internationally at this time. This includes U.S. territories, such as Alaska, Guam, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands due to extended quarantine periods!  The shipping price includes airfare, new crate, health certificate and gas costs.

Door To Door Delivery: 

We also can arrange to deliver a puppy right to your door, or meet you half way in between if you are unable to come to our home or would like to save some time.

Registration of Our Puppies:

All of our puppies are sold with an AKC (American Kennel Club) limited or full registration (type of registration will influence the price of our puppies).

Explanation of Full and Limited:  Full registration gives you the possibility of breeding or showing your dog and to have your litter registered.  If the puppy is sold as a pet, not for breeding or show, you will receive your limited registration paperwork only after we receive proof, from a veterinarian, that the puppy has been spayed or neutered. 
 
 

Limited Six Month Health Warranty:

MarLes Chihuahuas is confident that the dog/puppy will be delivered to you free from any health problems. The puppy is sold as a pet and companion. We will not guarantee to you will be able to breed or show your puppy. The prospects are possible but we can not give you a guarantee!  We do NOT sell to pet stores, brokers or puppy mills!!!

Before puppies are sold and leave for their new homes, they are examined by our veterinarian, receive one or two sets of booster shots (5 in 1 Vaccine), depending on the age of the puppy, Corona, Bordatella (Kennel Cough) Vaccine, have a fecal check and are de-wormed.  Our puppies come with a veterinarian certified health certificate, puppy food and puppy items to start you off!

This guarantee does not cover the following minor flaws or any condition that is minor and can be corrected by a veterinarian:

Open Fontanel also known as a Molera, a soft spot on top of the head. This spot may or may not grow completely closed in the Chihuahua. It is not a genetic defect but a unique feature of the Chihuahua.

We cannot guarantee size of our puppies when they reach adulthood. We give estimates based on size charts. Chihuahua's change and develop at different rates so size, color, and temperament of a puppy cannot be guaranteed. Some Chihuahuas can just stop growing and others get larger than expected.

Trachea - Small breeds sometimes develop a peculiar cough, this can be due to the collapsed tracheal rings, it is also known as reverse sneezing.

Hernias (of any kind)

Testicles (not descending)

Hypoglycemia

It is not common that Chihuahuas have Hip Dysplasia, but we will never rule that out.

Loose stools can be caused by the stress of traveling and change of diet. 

To qualify for our 6 month limited health warranty, you must have your puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian, of your choice, within 48 hours of receipt of the puppy. Please remember to take a fecal sample with you to the Veterinarian to eliminate any and all possibilities of parasites. 

If the puppy is diagnosed with any congenital or hereditary disorders, that seriously impact the quality of life, short of euthanasia or require continuous medical treatment through the course of the puppy's life, it must be confirmed and documented by two unassociated Veterinarians, within 6 months of receipt of the puppy.  If this is the situation here are the buyers options:

(a)  Buyer has the right to return the dog and receive a refund of the purchase price, excluding all veterinary and transportation costs, both ways.

or

(b)  Buyer has the right to return the dog and receive another dog of their choice of equal value, but not a refund of any veterinary or transportation costs, both ways. 

or

(c)  Should the buyer choose to keep the puppy we offer a refund of $250.00, after we receive documentation of spay or neuter of the puppy and return of your puppy's registration papers transferred back to us, MarLes Chihuahuas

The refund or exchange shall be made by MarLes Chihuahuas no later than ten (10) business days after receipt of a signed veterinary certification and the puppy. The buyer must notify MarLes Chihuahuas within two (2) business days after the veterinarian's determination that the animal is unfit. The written certification of unfitness must be presented to MarLes Chihuahuas no later than three (3) business days following receipt by the buyer.

An animal may not be determined unfit for sale on account of an injury sustained or illness contracted after the consumer takes possession of the animal.  A veterinary finding of intestinal or external parasites is not grounds for declaring a dog unfit for sale unless the animal is clinically ill because of that condition.
